Under the Hammer

Our Auction department are having a busy month; on Saturday 18th May we had a very successful Auction Sale of a Lifetimes Collection at Coningsby comprising of Classic Motorcycles & Tractors, Fairground Organ, Signs, Bygones, Stationary Engines, Vintage Fuel Pumps, Fuel Signs & Hand Tools. The sale was very well attended and the trade was not as gloomy as the weather. Highlights include a large collection of motoring themed enamel signs including large Castrol Sign £480, Pratts ‘Fill up Here’ Sign £420, Ivy 2 Stroke 350cc engine £410, Pirate Statue £260, Ruston Hornsby 4HP Engine £1000, Bradford 1918 4 stroke Engine £580, Zetor 3011 Tractor £2550, Fordson Major £1200, Foder Engine £1100.

In addition to this Auctioneer Wayne Mountain attended a charity event at Antons Gowt on the evening of Friday 17th May as the guest auctioneer, selling a range of items including plants and vegetable to raise money for LRSN.

After the busy day on Saturday 18th, James Boulton got suited and booted to attend the Helicopter Ball as the auctioneer where he sold a range of items including a Picnic Hamper, Samsung Galaxy S2, Escorted visit for 4 around the Helicopter Station & a Signed Lincoln City Football Shirt to a very generous audience in aid of the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

If this wasn’t enough, some of the team helped out at a Charity Auction at Alford Manor House on Saturday 4th May raising nearly £1600 for the New Building Fund.
